This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main contact for assigned clients, fostering strong and enduring relationships.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to grasp their needs, resolve issues, and update them on RCM performance.
• Anticipate client concerns and proactively tackle potential challenges.
• Manage the complete revenue cycle process, encompassing charge capture, coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Collaborate with clients to pinpoint opportunities for operational streamlining, enhancement of billing accuracy, and revenue collection growth.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS) and client-specific policies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with the revenue cycle.
• Create and present client-specific reports that offer insights into revenue trends, outstanding accounts, and operational performance.
• Utilize data to foster process improvements and propose recommendations for increased efficiency and profitability.
• Investigate and promptly resolve any escalated billing or collection issues.
• Work in conjunction with internal teams (coding, billing, compliance, etc.) to address intricate client concerns.
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of denied or rejected claims.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.
• Suggest process enhancements and implement best practices to optimize the RCM workflow.
• Contribute to the development of internal process documentation and training resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Finance; however, relevant experience in the industry will also be considered.
• Experience in Anesthesia or Ophthalmology RCM is mandatory.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Revenue Cycle Professional – CRCP) are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Revenue Cycle Management or related healthcare finance roles.
• Demonstrated experience in managing client relationships effectively.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare billing, coding, compliance, and insurance processes.
• Capacity to analyze complex data and deliver actionable insights.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Proven ability to navigate high-pressure situations and professionally handle client escalations and issues.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
• Proficient in working and communicating effectively with a diverse range of individuals, including department managers, staff, physicians, patients, and clients.
• Advanced proficiency in RCM software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting).
• Experience in leveraging data analytics, technology, and process improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and accuracy.
• Adaptability to changes in regulations, technologies, and industry trends, and ability to adjust revenue cycle management strategies accordingly.
• Competence in monitoring team performance and making necessary adjustments to enhance both team and individual performance.
• Occasional travel may be necessary based on client requirements.
