This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Generate new business opportunities by utilizing a combination of self-sourced outbound and inbound leads; conduct discovery calls (qualifying via MEDDPICC) and manage the complete sales cycle to achieve closure.
• Collaborate closely with SDR and BDR teams to review account targeting, sales strategies, and prospecting progress, aiding in the scheduling of new meetings with key brands that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
• Organize and execute online demonstrations with qualified prospects.
• Identify critical business needs and challenges, aligning Customer.io's solutions and features accordingly.
• Take ownership of your key metrics! Report on current and past sales, trends, costs, estimated versus actual revenue, and administrative commitments for management review.
• Manage your outbound efforts effectively - consistently self-generate pipeline and take pride in creating opportunities from the ground up.
• Articulate and showcase the features and benefits of our products and services through a value-based selling approach.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency - whether for prospecting, research, call preparation, or follow-up, we seek individuals who actively integrate AI into their sales methodologies.
• Proven top performer with over 5 years of experience in a Senior Account Executive position (or equivalent) within the B2B SaaS sector.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in selling Marketing Technology products.
• Demonstrated history of meeting quotas and achieving goals.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC or a comparable sales framework.
• Actively incorporates AI tools into your sales processes - not merely aware of them, but genuinely using them in prospecting, preparation, and execution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a professional and engaging phone presence.
• Ability to discern customer business needs to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Capability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• You are a creative problem-solver who can grasp customer issues and identify optimal solutions, regardless of the nature of the inquiry.
