This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Develop and implement the sales strategy for the APAC region by partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership.
• Oversee several major existing accounts in the APAC region to enhance revenue and address regional needs.
• Actively build and manage a qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting, strategic networking, and referral development, converting leads from various sources (marketing, self-sourced, events, and partner referrals) into closed sales in line with established quarterly targets.
• Effectively apply sales processes to maintain a balanced sales pipeline and funnel.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Innovative product offerings, the industry, and personal skill development.
• Utilize and expand understanding of industry, government, and regulatory trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to formulate strategies for increasing market share and the penetration of Innovative's solutions.
• Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with enterprise prospects and adopt a consultative, solutions-focused approach to better comprehend their challenges, needs, and requirements, ensuring superior service and positive outcomes for both the prospects and Innovative.
• Actively engage with and seek support from managers, decision-makers, top leadership, and various organizational levels throughout all phases of the sales process to secure sales and achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction.
• Keep management informed about opportunities, challenges, industry shifts, competitor activities, and overall account status throughout all stages.
• Provide insights to marketing and product management teams to aid in the creation of effective and up-to-date sales presentations, materials, and requirements.
• Collaborate with various internal teams, including support, delivery, product, and development.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the sales team and serve as a mentor to others.
• Regularly use sales tools (salesforce.com) to monitor and manage the sales cycle.
• Maintain integrity in interactions with internal teams, clients, and partners.
• Over 10 years of experience in B2B software, data, SaaS, and compliance (RegTech).
• Previous experience or knowledge in data/data quality/data management, regulatory risk and compliance, AML, KYC, sanctions screening, PEP screening, etc.
• In-depth understanding of either the payments ecosystem (including payment rails, digital wallets, and compliance/regulatory frameworks such as AML, KYC, and PCI-DSS) or the insurance sector (including underwriting, policy administration, claims, and relevant regulatory frameworks), with the ability to engage credibly with both technical and commercial stakeholders across either domain.
• Proven experience operating within APAC markets, with a solid understanding of regional business culture, stakeholder dynamics, and the intricacies of navigating enterprise sales cycles across diverse geographies.
• Strong habits in prospecting and sales processes.
• Consistent application of value/solutions selling or comparable sales techniques.
• Proficient in using Salesforce.com or similar sales CRM.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a passion for achieving sales success.
• Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close business deals.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a strong commitment to follow through on tasks.
• Proven ability in problem/needs assessment.
• Established track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Proven team player with a strong collaborative and advocacy mindset.
