📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate relationships with nursing schools, medical schools, academic health systems, and simulation centers within your designated territory.

• Conduct consultative discovery to grasp curriculum challenges, learner outcome objectives, and institutional priorities.

• Develop and deliver persuasive business cases that align educational outcomes with institutional objectives and demonstrate return on investment.

• Oversee multi-year agreement opportunities from initial discussions to contract signing, navigating through faculty, simulation leadership, academic leadership, procurement, and IT.

• Showcase how OMS enhances curriculum delivery, competency-based education, learner engagement, and assessment—coordinating with clinical education and solutions colleagues as necessary.

• Manage university procurement, purchasing, and contracting processes until closure.

• Establish robust, multi-faceted relationships with simulation directors, faculty, program leaders, deans, and budget holders.

• Represent OMS in the field at academic conferences, simulation events, and nursing/medical education meetings; this role requires a significant field presence.

• Collaborate with Marketing and BDRs to create targeted account strategies and expand pipeline coverage.

• Provide market intelligence and buyer insights back to the commercial team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in quota-bearing SaaS, healthcare technology, or clinical education technology sales.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder consultative sales cycles—including multi-year agreements—from prospecting to closure.

• Experience in building trust with mission-driven, clinically-focused buyers, understanding that simulation directors and nursing faculty are not standard software purchasers.

• Strong instincts for new business development: adept at outbound strategies, pipeline creation, and managing lengthy institutional buying processes without losing momentum.

• Excellent skills in discovery, presentation, and commercial negotiation.

• Strong discipline in forecasting and CRM management (HubSpot preferred).

• Willingness to travel significantly for fieldwork—approximately 50% of your time, including overnight stays and conference participation.
