This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as the primary strategic leader for patient/DTC brands, guiding brand direction, engagement strategies, and long-term growth initiatives.
• Establish and nurture trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders, such as brand leads, commercial teams, and medical/legal/regulatory partners.
• Spearhead the creation of integrated, omnichannel DTC campaigns (digital, social, CRM, web, point-of-care, and emerging channels) based on patient insights.
• Simplify intricate clinical and regulatory information into clear and persuasive patient-facing strategies and messaging frameworks.
• Manage comprehensive account operations, including scope development, financial management, forecasting, and organic growth.
• Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, media, and data teams to guarantee cohesive execution and measurable outcomes across all touchpoints.
• Discover opportunities for innovation in patient engagement, focusing on personalization, digital health integrations, and behavioral change strategies.
• Guide and develop junior team members, promoting strategic thinking, client leadership, and pharmaceutical expertise.
• Take part in new business initiatives, including leading pitches, developing narratives, and designing solutions.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or similar) is advantageous.
• 12+ years of experience in pharma/healthcare advertising, with a strong emphasis on patient (DTC) marketing.
• Demonstrated success in leading large, complex accounts and executing integrated campaigns across various channels.
• In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical regulatory landscape, including MLR processes and FDA guidelines for DTC communications.
• Strong expertise in patient journey mapping, segmentation, and engagement strategies aimed at driving behavior change.
• Outstanding client leadership abilities, with experience in influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Commercial insight with experience managing budgets, scopes, and revenue growth.
• Collaborative leadership style, capable of working effectively across strategy, creative, media, and analytics disciplines.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in digital health, CRM, or data-driven marketing is a significant advantage.
