Senior Account Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and implement a new business development strategy, emphasizing outbound activities.

• Allocate 60–70% of your efforts towards hunting (prospecting, outreach, and pipeline creation).

• Discover, engage, and secure new clients across targeted industries.

• Utilize Blueprint’s Databricks Gold Partner status to unlock co-selling opportunities and expedite deals.

• Develop and oversee a robust pipeline from initial contact to closed deal.

• Collaborate closely with internal technical and delivery teams to design and sell solutions.

• Create and deliver customized proposals that link data solutions to business outcomes.

• Maintain a disciplined approach to CRM usage for tracking pipeline, activities, and forecasts.

• Engage in industry events, partner channels, and networking to enhance market presence.

• Relay market feedback to internal teams to guide solution development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience in data, AI, or technology solution sales.

• A proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

• Demonstrated success in building a pipeline from the ground up (not just managing inbound or existing accounts).

• Experience in selling data platforms or cloud/data solutions (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data, etc.).

• Ability to confidently discuss modern data architectures (lakehouse, data engineering, analytics workflows).

• Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales processes.

• Strong outbound discipline: prospecting, follow-ups, and account penetration.

• Comfortable working in a high-activity, performance-oriented environment.

• Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and business teams.
