Senior Account Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with Key Accounts/End Users to gain insights into their requirements and expand Honeywell's market share.

• Foster relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with the Regional Distribution Manager regarding indirect business through channel partners to create new business avenues.

• Develop account plans and align strategic initiatives accordingly.

• Leverage our Field Application Engineers and Offering Management team to train and cultivate new business prospects related to our product lines, target applications, and markets.

• Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts.

• Implement a proactive sales approach utilizing our CRM system, ensuring it is consistently updated with all sales-related activities, including (but not limited to) meeting schedules, notes, contacts, business plans, quotations, price requests, revenue forecasts, scheduled dates, and sales team members.

• Ensure data integrity within the system.

• Provide weekly performance reports to leadership on specific opportunities, while continuously monitoring sales data, incentive progress, new product launches, sales trends, and other key performance indicators. Always maintain an understanding of the business's 'health.'

• Communicate and deliver value propositions by understanding customer needs and customizing solutions.

• Discover new sales opportunities and offer consultative support by developing value propositions tailored to our customers.

• Maintain momentum throughout the sales cycle.

• Build rapport with customers at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.

• At least 5 years of Account Management experience in business-to-business sales within a Manufacturing/OEM setting, particularly with high-value solutions (in Sensors & switches or automation environments).

• Previous experience handling Key Accounts.

• Familiarity with multi-dimensional routes to market through Channel, Distribution, and Direct sales.

• Strong sales acumen, with experience in building and sustaining relationships.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proficient in using Salesforce (or similar CRM systems) and other IT tools.

• Native Italian speaker.

• Fluent in English.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% across Italy.

• Primarily work from home, associated with our legacy office in the Milano area; other heavily industrialized regions may also be considered.
