Senior 3rd Party Logistics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee performance and governance across various 3PL distribution centers to ensure alignment with inventory, service, cost, and compliance standards.

• Foster accountability for essential KPIs such as on-time delivery, OS&D, inventory accuracy, and cost per unit.

• Create and maintain standardized processes, SOPs, and operational controls throughout the 3PL network.

• Act as the primary point of contact between supply chain and commercial teams, ensuring the fulfillment of customer requirements and the resolution of escalations.

• Offer insights into order execution, inventory flow, and customer service performance.

• Lead workstreams within the 3PL for significant supply chain initiatives, including support, planning, and execution.

• Develop and oversee KPI scorecards and conduct monthly reviews with stakeholders and 3PL partners.

• Identify and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency initiatives in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for service or inventory-related issues.

• Promote cross-functional collaboration among planning, transportation, customer service, finance, IT, and commercial teams.

• Manage operational reporting and analytics to enhance performance visibility and support decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in supply chain management with a strong focus on 3PL management and distribution operations.

• Proven experience in leading supply chain transformation projects and system integrations.

• Extensive knowledge of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.

• Strong analytical capabilities (experience with SAP, Excel, and Power BI is preferred).

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in multi-site distribution environments is preferred.

• Willingness and ability to travel as required to support site initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and project execution.
