• Accountable for animating the characters featured in the project.
• Adhering to and fulfilling the creative and technical standards for animation as specified by the Animation Director.
• Collaborate with the animation team to realize the Executive Producer's vision.
• Produce animated sequences involving characters, objects, and camera movements.
• A minimum of 4+ years of production experience in 3D animated films and/or episodic animation.
• Demo reels that demonstrate exceptional facial expressions and body mechanics.
• Portfolios featuring mature, stylized, and anime-inspired animation are preferred.
• Experience in 2D animation is advantageous but not required for this position.
• Strong understanding of narrative storytelling, comic timing, and emotive visual language.
• Extensive experience with character animation, including lip sync and key posing, in a CG animation setting.
• Solid knowledge of Maya within a production environment.
• In-depth understanding of animation workflows, character rigs, and storyboard interpretation.
• Experience in creating animated sequences involving characters, objects, and camera movements.
• Capable of collaborating with the animation team to bring the Executive Producer's vision to life.
• Proficient in keyframe animation and well-versed in fundamental skills such as posing, timing, and pacing.
• Ability to draft initial animation blocking for review and then refine and polish it to completion.
• Strong grasp of the principles of animation.
• A passion for animation and storytelling.
• Competent in taking direction from a Supervisor and being a team player.
• Capable of receiving feedback from the director and lead animator and applying it appropriately to the shots.
• Skilled in interpreting verbal or visual creative briefs successfully.
• Excellent communication abilities and a willingness to share knowledge in a team setting.
• Consistently able to meet deadlines.
• Flexible and responsive to change while following direction.
• Able to work independently as well as under direct supervision.
• Quick problem-solving skills and effective implementation of solutions.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
• Must be eligible to work in Spain.
• Preference will be given to local Spanish candidates.
