Semi Senior Java/C++ Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assist in specific development initiatives for Java and C++ applications related to Market Risk processes.

• Resolve outstanding vulnerabilities utilizing Java.

• Analyze C++ engine traces to address calculation queries and errors.

• Provide support for minor developments and modifications in C++.

• Debug and diagnose issues in both Java and C++ environments.

• Operate within Linux environments.

• Utilize Git for managing source code.

• Collaborate with Devin.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Java, C++, Linux, and Market Risk settings.

• At least 2 years of experience with Java and J2EE.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with C++.

• Basic knowledge of Linux.

• Proficient in debugging Java applications.

• Skilled in debugging C++ applications.

• Familiarity with Git.

• Understanding of Market Risk.

• Experience in Java development and addressing vulnerabilities.

• Capability to analyze and debug traces from calculation engines and application errors.

• Proficient in English at B2/C1 level.

• Nice to have: understanding of Market Risk concepts and methodologies, such as AIR Sensitivities, Value at Risk (VaR), and Stress Testing.
