This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver expert architectural leadership for AI Architecture & Enablement within a designated business sector.
• Ensure that the development of AI-enabled solutions aligns with overarching architectural strategies.
• Convert business and product requirements into functional architectures for AI-enabled applications, agents, retrieval-augmented generation solutions, intelligent workflows, and related application, service, API, data, and platform components.
• Steer AI initiatives from technical exploration through to scalable, secure, and maintainable production deployment.
• Foster architectural integrity within the defined scope and establish and implement technical standards.
• Advise on design decisions concerning cost, scalability, security, reliability, data protection, maintainability, and operational support.
• Create prototypes and reference implementations.
• Perform design reviews and offer technical guidance along with implementation supervision.
• Empower teams to embrace AI development methodologies involving agents, retrieval and knowledge integration, model and framework selection, evaluation, prompt and context engineering, tool integration, human oversight, and AI-assisted software development.
• Recognize recurring technical issues and develop reusable patterns, examples, and guidance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, Security, Data, Platform, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and knowledge-system stakeholders.
• Ensure that solutions utilize trusted information, enforce suitable permissions, maintain provenance, and comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Synchronize the architectural vision and architecture runway with business strategies and portfolios.
• Work alongside team members to establish software best practices and requirements.
• Assist development teams and proactively address common challenges.
• Complete special projects and fulfill other assigned responsibilities.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 6 years of experience in developing top-tier web UI/workflow/backend applications.
• Extensive experience in UX/UI architecture and Application/Solution architecture.
• Practical experience in creating rich and highly responsive APIs.
• Proficient coding skills using functional or advanced languages/frameworks such as Java, Golang, and Spring.
• Direct experience leading architecture and software design for one or more teams.
• Strong familiarity with Microservices, Cloud Native, Cloud technologies, and Enterprise Patterns.
• Experience with agile methodologies and best practices throughout all phases of the SDLC.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and other DevOps tools.
• Experience with APM and Observability tools.
• Working knowledge of designing distributed and streaming applications.
