Senior Technical Architect – AI/ML

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Create robust and scalable AI/ML solutions utilizing the complete Snowflake native stack along with the partner ecosystem.

• Conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis for intricate system dependencies within AI/ML solutions.

• Collaborate across various departments including Sales and Product teams to ensure technical roadmaps align with customer ROI.

• Provide mentorship to Level 3 architects on MLOps and best practices in architectural design.

• Analyze and break down failures in complex pipelines that involve external cloud services.

• Assess potential failure modes such as model drift and data skew early in the development lifecycle.

• Design data security measures and access controls for sensitive AI/ML training data.

• Mitigate post-deployment technical debt and contribute to the regional success of complex implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (equivalent to Radford L4).

• Extensive professional experience in creatively resolving a diverse range of issues.

• Exceptional executive communication skills; capable of presenting complex AI/ML concepts and ROI to both technical and business audiences.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire Data Science life cycle, encompassing feature engineering, model development, model deployment, and model management.

• Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Vector Databases.

• Proficient in Databricks/Apache Spark.

• Experience in implementing data pipelines utilizing ETL tools.

• Background in a Data Science role.

• Demonstrated success in enterprise software environments.

• Specialized knowledge in key sectors such as Financial Services, Retail, or Manufacturing.

• Experience with external cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Understanding of Snowflake Model Registry, Cortex Functions, Python, and external MLOps tools like Kubeflow/SageMaker.
