This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Convert marketing briefs and requirements into technically robust audience definitions and segmentation logic within Segment.
• Create, construct, and sustain reusable, identity-aware audiences to facilitate lifecycle marketing, personalization, and activation scenarios.
• Act as the in-platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Segment, focusing on audience creation, traits, events, and destination activation.
• Collaborate across functions with Marketing, Data, and Engineering to align business requirements with technical audience and data solutions.
• Validate, oversee, and troubleshoot data ingestion pipelines to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and alignment with expected schemas.
• Configure and manage Segment Unify, including identity resolution, merge policies, and profile stitching.
• Uphold high standards of data quality, integrity, naming conventions, and platform governance across audiences and data sources.
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Assurance (QA) processes, and governance frameworks for audience creation, data onboarding, and change management.
• Monitor audience performance, data flow, and overall platform health, identifying and addressing issues and opportunities for optimization.
• Configure and manage access controls, permissions, and Engage Spaces to uphold governance and privacy requirements.
• Document audience logic, operational processes, and governance standards to support audit readiness and scalability.
• Provide training, guidance, and best practices to facilitate stakeholder adoption and effective use of the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
• Continuously enhance segmentation strategies, platform utilization, and operational processes to achieve better marketing results.

• Extensive knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), particularly Twilio Segment, encompassing Audiences, Unify, Personas/Engage, and destination integrations.
• Understanding of Marketing Systems integration with the capacity to link data, technology, and business outcomes.
• Strong grasp of identity resolution, profile stitching, and customer data modeling concepts.
• Experience with event-driven data structures, schemas, traits, and tracking plans.
• Practical knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data validation methods.
• Familiarity with data governance principles, including data quality, naming conventions, access controls, and privacy compliance (experience with Confluence is a plus).
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and produce high-quality outputs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to interpret technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and support adoption.
• Awareness of downstream activation platforms (e.g., email, paid media, personalization tools) and how CDP audiences are utilized.
• Experience with API integrations, event tracking implementations, and debugging tools.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with a CDP, with Segment being strongly preferred.
• Background in lifecycle marketing, personalization, or omnichannel activation strategies.
• Experience in highly regulated environments with privacy and consent considerations.
• Familiarity with designing customer journeys, trigger-based campaigns, and segmentation strategies.
• Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and personalization methods.
• Understanding of attribution and campaign performance measurement.
• Acquainted with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and consent management practices.
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and optimization.
