This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a trusted advisor for a designated portfolio of around 20 member organizations.
• Foster long-lasting relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and high-level technology executives.
• Offer strategic advice on technology, operations, cybersecurity, risk management, governance, and organizational challenges.
• Provide advisory services through both virtual and face-to-face interactions.
• Assist members in identifying priorities, creating roadmaps, reducing risk, and enhancing business results.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure member success, retention, and growth.
• Engage in account planning and initiatives aimed at member success.
• Impact the creation of research, diagnostics, workshops, and advisory offerings.
• Share knowledge through conferences, keynote presentations, webinars, roundtables, and industry events.
• Allocate service delivery, product enhancement, and subject matter expertise at 70%, 20%, and 10%, respectively.
• Proven leadership experience across various domains, including technology strategy and governance, infrastructure and cloud services, IT operations and service management, cybersecurity and information security, risk/compliance/privacy, enterprise architecture and modernization, business continuity and resilience, and DevOps/operational excellence.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, including leadership positions in Infrastructure, Security, Operations, Risk, Compliance, or related technology fields.
• Experience in leading technology functions at the Director, Senior Director, Vice President, CIO, CISO, or equivalent level.
• Demonstrated success in advising executive stakeholders and influencing strategic technology choices.
• Proven ability to translate complex business and technology issues into practical, actionable strategies.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 25% across Canada and the United States, with occasional international travel.
• Fluency in French, Spanish, or German is considered a plus.
• Experience in public speaking, conference presentations, or industry thought leadership is desirable.
• A combination of post-secondary education, industry certifications, professional accreditations, and relevant leadership experience will be taken into account.
