Security Researcher – Bot Detection Adversarial Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Simulate sophisticated adversaries against Bright Data's data collection solutions.

• Perform comprehensive research on tools or services that obstruct the unrestricted collection of public web data.

• Develop and enhance HTTP client solutions to bolster Bright Data's data collection initiatives.

• Recognize emerging standards and technologies that may influence data collection abilities.

• Reverse engineer adversary solutions to thwart fingerprinting techniques that hinder data collection.

• Create innovative machine learning methods for data collection.

• Assist in scaling the Bright Data collection platform as the customer base expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a researcher, developer, or tester in R&D.

• Profound knowledge of HTTP and TLS protocols.

• Proficiency in English.

• Experience in an anti-bot or web security company is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with at least two of the following:

• Programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C++.

• Experience in penetration testing or possession of offensive security certifications (OSCP, OSEP, etc.).

• Professional experience in security research (including web vulnerabilities, mobile applications, etc.).

• Skills in reverse engineering (JS de-obfuscation or binary reverse engineering) or malware analysis.

• Development experience in anti-bot solutions or related products, such as WAF, anti-virus development (malware emulation, etc.), DDoS prevention, etc.
