Security Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in practical research related to Active Directory, Windows, and Entra ID.

• Develop proof-of-concept exploits and testing methodologies to confirm research outcomes.

• Utilizing AI tools to enhance research and prototyping is encouraged and welcomed.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to aid in translating research into product enhancements.

• Contribute technical write-ups of findings to the Netwrix Blog and Attack Catalog.

• Opportunity to co-present or deliver presentations on research at industry conferences as your experience increases.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of practical experience in security research, red teaming, penetration testing, or a closely related identity security role, focusing on Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows, or similar identity platforms.

• Familiarity with common AD/Entra ID misconfigurations, privilege escalation techniques, and attack methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools to enhance research activities.

• Capable of working collaboratively with engineering and product teams.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Expertise in at least one programming or scripting language (C#, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
