This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, connecting business priorities with security risks.
• Align the security strategy with business priorities, product development, regulatory requirements, and the evolving landscape of cyber risk.
• Serve as a liaison between the business and the Global Security Office.
• Guide risk-related decisions, enhance controls, and ensure secure growth.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders, Security Champions, technology teams, and governance partners on security and risk-related decisions.
• Lead security assessments for projects, rapid risk reviews, risk acceptances, deviations, and remediation planning.
• Maintain visibility into the business unit's security risks, control health, metrics, dashboards, OKRs, and SLOs.
• Escalate or guide actions when risks demand attention.
• Advise on secure data exchanges, regulatory and control obligations, security assessments, M&A integration, and major initiatives.
• Communicate threats, incidents, policy changes, and business-specific security requirements to leadership.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing processes, automation, governance workflows, and security partner engagement models.
• Over 10 years of experience in information security, security risk assessment, audit, compliance, technology risk, or related disciplines.
• Proficient in cybersecurity risk management, control frameworks, and governance practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, and risk lifecycle methodologies.
• Working knowledge of regulated financial services, FinTech, privacy, and security obligations.
• Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, FFIEC, PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and breach notification requirements.
• Knowledge spanning application security, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, secure software development, Agile delivery, AI/GenAI risk, and cutting-edge technologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, or CIPP.
