Security Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the security team.

• Implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for an enterprise Oracle environment.

• Design, implement, and manage role-based access controls for Oracle Fusion Applications.

• Utilize Risk Management Frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and OMB A-123.

• Develop, sustain, and monitor audit controls related to system access.

• Analyze quarterly release updates and create or direct test plans.

• Offer guidance on security best practices, architectural decisions, and secure design patterns.

• Evaluate and improve security measures that safeguard organizational systems, data, and assets.

• Mentor and lead junior team members in Oracle Application Security, Risk Management Cloud, Compliance, and ATO activities.

• Collaborate with functional, development, and architecture teams to incorporate security requirements into solution components.

• Review technical architecture documents, identify vulnerabilities, recommend remediation, and influence the security framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Applications Security, encompassing role design, data security policies, and access architecture.

• Advanced skill set in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Identity & Access Management (IAM).

• Proven track record in leading cross-functional security initiatives in complex technical environments.

• Strong grasp of cybersecurity frameworks, secure architecture principles, and cloud governance.

• Experience in analyzing technical architecture documentation and pinpointing security vulnerabilities.

• Capacity to convert business requirements into technical security designs.

• Must be a US Person.

• Required to have US work authorization that does not currently or in the future necessitate visa sponsorship.

• Bonus: Previous experience in achieving or supporting Authority-To-Operate (ATO) processes.

• Bonus: Experience in security policy development, incident response, contingency planning, and audit readiness.

• Bonus: Background in architecting secure cloud solutions and managing enterprise-level security strategies.

• Bonus: Familiarity with federal cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.
