Security Engineering Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Influence the development of the Cogent product at the cutting edge of AI and cybersecurity.

• Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers to create AI agents rooted in real-world security workflows.

• Provide domain expertise to inform product strategy, roadmap, and essential features.

• Enhance and advance Cogent’s security posture, systems, and incident response capabilities.

• Establish processes and tools to ensure protection for Cogent and its customers from end to end.

• Produce insightful content, engage with customers, and present on AI in vulnerability management.

• Shape industry perspectives on autonomous security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of extensive, hands-on experience in security engineering.

• Proficient in vulnerability management across the entire attack surface.

• Competent in Python or a similar programming language, with a strong enthusiasm for automation.

• Proven ability to perform in high-stakes, fast-paced environments at scale.

• Strong inclination towards clarity, speed, and technical precision.

• Experience collaborating closely with ML, AI, or data science teams (preferred).
