Security Engineer – Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams during the design and development phases to securely implement new features.

• Engage in implementation initiatives.

• Perform security assessments.

• Contribute to product design decisions.

• Audit existing products to identify and highlight vulnerabilities.

• Develop agent-driven security tools and AI-integrated security workflows throughout the codebase.

• Establish and create application guardrails to enable developers to build securely by default.

• Foster a culture of secure development within the engineering team.

• Support incident response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, security evaluations, and various security operations.

• Assist in maintaining a top-tier security program.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security and/or software engineering positions.

• Proven track record of involvement in security-related projects or functioning as a security generalist.

• Experience collaborating across functions with Product and Engineering teams.

• Technical proficiency in building secure platforms and products at a detailed level.

• Experience in conducting security design and code reviews.

• Keen interest in understanding security systems and enhancing their efficiency and scalability.

• Enthusiasm for AI-integrated product security and agent-driven workflows.

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.

• Passion for implementing security and privacy technologies.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer.

• Proficiency in Python 3 and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, React, Postgres, Redis, AWS, Spark, Kafka, Datadog, PagerDuty, GitHub, Snyk, and Semgrep.
