This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver engaging technical presentations and live demonstrations of Tenable Enterprise products, emphasizing the Tenable One Platform.
• Oversee enterprise software trials and Proof of Concept evaluations, ensuring successful outcomes that align with customer business goals.
• Respond to technical inquiries and provide consultative advice on security best practices, compliance frameworks, and risk management strategies.
• Utilize advanced technical expertise to showcase the value and impact of Tenable’s Exposure Management solutions in addressing real-world customer issues.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers while identifying and nurturing new strategic opportunities.
• Present thought leadership content and represent Tenable at industry events, executive briefings, and customer-facing engagements.
• Leverage strategic technical selling skills to engage key stakeholders—from engineers to CISOs—and influence their decision-making processes.
• Travel as necessary to support important customer interactions, sales opportunities, and events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management and engineering teams to gather customer feedback and prioritize critical cloud use cases.
• Contribute to shaping future innovations by identifying gaps and suggesting ideas for new product features and capabilities.
• Provide clear and actionable status reports, detailing key trends, upcoming events, and alignment with territory and organizational goals.
• 3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical sales role, with a proven history as a trusted and successful sales engineer.
• Demonstrated success in leading and securing technical proof-of-value (PoV) engagements with strategic enterprise clients.
• Ability to customize technical demonstrations and architecture discussions to fit specific customer environments and business requirements.
• Proven solution architecture skills, with the adaptability to problem-solve in real-time during complex customer engagements.
• Strong communication abilities, capable of delivering impactful presentations to a diverse range of audiences—from engineers and security practitioners to executive stakeholders.
• A customer-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering business value and fostering long-term relationships.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach, committed to knowledge-sharing, cross-functional success, and proudly representing our One Tenable team culture.
• Willingness to travel as needed for strategic customer meetings, key industry events, and field enablement activities.
