Security Engineer – Full Remote, Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Conduct weekly code reviews to identify vulnerabilities prior to deployment.

• Monitor, prioritize, and facilitate the remediation of security vulnerabilities across the entire stack.

• Organize external security audits and penetration tests, ensuring follow-up on identified issues.

• Maintain and enhance our risk register by mapping all company services and prioritizing exposure levels.

• Support post-audit follow-up and ensure that GRC documentation is current.

• Inform the team about emerging threats, document findings, and disseminate security updates throughout the company.

• Implement phishing simulations and conduct security training using Riot.

• Take charge of monitoring security channels and alerts, including weekend coverage, to ensure prompt responses.

• Configure and secure new employee devices (MDM), manage access provisioning and deprovisioning.

• Stay informed about new attack techniques targeting generative AI, such as prompt injections, jailbreaks, and content filter bypasses.

• Monitor security incidents and vulnerabilities reported by third-party AI providers that we depend on.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background in application security, including code reviews and vulnerability management.

• Experience in coordinating or conducting penetration tests and security audits.

• Proficient in shipping code and utilizing Git/GitHub workflows.

• Skills in scripting and automation.

• Bonus: Knowledge of AI/LLM security concepts, such as prompt injections, jailbreaking, and adversarial testing; curiosity is valued more than extensive experience in this evolving field.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities (fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented with a sense of ownership and commitment.
