This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish strong collaborations with stakeholders across various business areas to facilitate secure product and service delivery.
• Act as a security subject matter expert in multiple security domains, offering guidance on best practices in cybersecurity.
• Assess current security tools and suggest enhancements, replacements, or opportunities for consolidation.
• Implement, configure, maintain, and optimize security technologies to ensure their effectiveness and business value.
• Collaborate with technology and engineering teams to integrate security controls and solutions throughout the enterprise.
• Educate, advise, and influence stakeholders regarding cybersecurity risks, controls, and best practices.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security events, alerts, and incidents.
• Maintain a thorough inventory of digital assets and assist in automating asset management processes.
• Collaborate with the VP of Information Risk and Cyber Assessments to communicate risks and recommendations to leadership.
• Support secure cloud adoption and the implementation of security controls across enterprise environments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity administration, engineering, or security operations.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), or AWS Certified Security – Specialty are preferred.
• Practical experience implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise security technologies, including EDR/XDR, DLP, identity and access management, vulnerability management, cloud security, and attack surface management solutions.
• Experience with security platforms such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Google SecOps, ReliaQuest GreyMatter, Netskope, Box Shield, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in PowerShell and automating security operations in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, enterprise infrastructure, and cloud computing concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud security services and governance tools within Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security monitoring practices.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001.
• Understanding of security considerations for emerging technologies, such as AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively conveying information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ownership of your work, willingness to take on challenges, recognition of growth opportunities, and patience in learning new processes.
