Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create innovative security protocols to safeguard assets within a vast and intricate environment.

• Manage a diverse array of security platforms and systems.

• Advocate for infrastructure security technologies such as ZTNA and Passwordless solutions.

• Execute security orchestration and automation to enhance security operations.

• Collaborate with the security engineering team as well as cross-functional teams.

• Foster best practices for hybrid on-premise and cloud security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Security Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Engineering.

• Proficient in Windows OS and Linux administration.

• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and single sign-on systems such as Kerberos, Active Directory, and LDAP.

• Familiarity with compliance regulation requirements.

• Experience with Zero Trust Network Architecture solutions like Cloudflare and Zscaler.

• Background in Data Loss Prevention tools such as Purview, Proofpoint, Forcepoint, and Cloudflare.

• Experience with DNS filtering and web proxies including Cisco, Cloudflare, and Zscaler.

• Proficient in email security tools like Proofpoint, Barracuda, and Microsoft.

• Familiarity with Endpoint Privilege Management solutions such as CyberArk and Microsoft Privileges.

• Experience with Tines or similar central automation platforms.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, and PowerShell.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP; AWS is strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with tools like AWS CloudFormation, HashiCorp Terraform, or similar.

• Familiar with detection and response solutions, including EDR, SIEM, and SOAR.

• Understanding of web application firewalls and next-generation firewalls.

• CompTIA Security+, CompTIA SecAI+, AWS Certified Security, and/or Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate certifications preferred.

• Must be available five days a week during designated working hours.
