Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Conduct weekly code reviews to identify vulnerabilities before deployment.

• Monitor, prioritize, and facilitate the remediation of security vulnerabilities across the entire stack.

• Organize external security audits and penetration testing, ensuring follow-up on identified issues.

• Develop and maintain our risk register, mapping all company services and prioritizing exposed elements.

• Assist with audit follow-ups and ensure GRC documentation is current.

• Relay new threats to the team, document discoveries, and disseminate security updates across the company.

• Execute phishing simulations and conduct security training sessions (via Riot).

• Take responsibility for monitoring security channels and alerts, including weekend coverage, to ensure no issues go unaddressed.

• Configure and secure new employee devices (MDM), managing access provisioning and deprovisioning.

• Stay informed about emerging attack techniques targeting generative AI (such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and content filter bypass).

• Monitor security incidents and vulnerabilities reported by third-party AI providers that we depend on.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in application security, including code review and vulnerability management.

• Experience in coordinating or executing penetration tests and security audits.

• Proficient in shipping code and familiar with Git/GitHub workflows.

• Skills in scripting and automation.

• Bonus: Knowledge of AI/LLM security concepts (such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, and adversarial testing) — curiosity is valued even more than established experience in this emerging field.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• Goal-driven with a sense of ownership and commitment.
