This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Assume responsibility for safeguarding our product, users, and collaborators.
• Conduct weekly code reviews to identify vulnerabilities prior to deployment.
• Monitor, prioritize, and drive the resolution of security vulnerabilities across the technology stack.
• Organize external security audits and penetration tests, ensuring all findings are addressed.
• Maintain and update our risk register, detailing all company services and prioritizing potential exposures.
• Assist with audit follow-ups and ensure that GRC documentation is current.
• Inform the team about new threats, document findings, and disseminate security updates throughout the company.
• Execute phishing simulations and security training (via Riot).
• Manage security channels and alerts, including weekend monitoring, to ensure all issues are addressed promptly.
• Configure and secure new employee devices (MDM), oversee access provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Stay informed on emerging attack techniques targeting generative AI (prompt injection, jailbreaks, content filter bypass).
• Monitor security incidents and vulnerabilities reported by third-party AI providers that we depend on.
• Extensive experience in application security (code review, vulnerability management).
• Experience in coordinating or executing penetration tests/security audits.
• Proficient in shipping code and utilizing Git/GitHub workflows.
• Skills in scripting and automation.
• Bonus: awareness of AI/LLM security concepts (prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial testing) — curiosity is valued in this evolving field more than established experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities (fluent in English).
• Goal-oriented with a sense of ownership and commitment.
