Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Norway.

📋 Description

• Conduct weekly code assessments to identify vulnerabilities prior to deployment.

• Monitor, prioritize, and drive the remediation of security vulnerabilities throughout the technology stack.

• Organize external security audits and penetration testing, ensuring that findings are addressed.

• Sustain and enhance our risk register, mapping all company services while prioritizing exposure risks.

• Assist with audit follow-ups and ensure that GRC documentation remains current.

• Relay new threats to the team, document insights, and disseminate security updates across the company.

• Execute phishing simulations and conduct security training (via Riot).

• Oversee the monitoring of security channels and alerts, including weekend coverage to ensure all issues are addressed.

• Configure and secure new employee devices (MDM) and manage access provisioning and deprovisioning.

• Stay informed about emerging attack techniques targeting generative AI (prompt injection, jailbreaks, content filter bypass).

• Monitor security incidents and vulnerabilities reported by third-party AI providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in application security.

• Proven experience in coordinating or conducting penetration tests and security audits.

• Proficient in shipping code and familiar with Git/GitHub workflows.

• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.

• Bonus: Knowledge of AI/LLM security concepts (prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial testing) is desirable; curiosity is valued more than extensive experience in this emerging field.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.
