Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Take charge of safeguarding our product, users, and collaborators as we expand a rapidly growing AI dating platform.

• Engage directly in application security, risk & compliance, and security awareness initiatives.

• Conduct weekly code assessments to identify vulnerabilities prior to deployment.

• Monitor, prioritize, and facilitate the resolution of security vulnerabilities throughout the entire stack.

• Organize external security audits and penetration tests, ensuring follow-through on identified issues.

• Maintain and enhance our risk register by mapping all company services and prioritizing exposures.

• Assist with audit follow-ups and ensure GRC documentation remains current.

• Communicate emerging threats to the team, document observations, and disseminate security updates across the company.

• Execute phishing simulations and provide security training (via Riot).

• Oversee the monitoring of security channels and alerts, including coverage during weekends.

• Configure and secure new employee devices (MDM), as well as manage access provisioning and deprovisioning.

• Stay informed about emerging attack techniques targeting generative AI (such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and content filter bypass).

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in application security, including code reviews and vulnerability management.

• Proficient in coordinating or conducting penetration tests and security audits.

• Comfortable with coding and experienced in Git/GitHub workflows.

• Skills in scripting and automation.

• Bonus: Familiarity with AI/LLM security concepts (prompt injection, jailbreaking, adversarial testing) — curiosity is valued over proven experience in this evolving field.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.
