Security Engineer 5 – IAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create security solutions for Identity and Access tailored for Netflix’s global workforce, including employees, contractors, and external partners.

• Engage in solution design and execution, encompassing implementation, partner integration, and rollout strategies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Security and Engineering on federated authentication, user provisioning and deprovisioning, identity governance, compliance, and access management.

• Work alongside vendors and service providers to consult, integrate, and enhance third-party Identity capabilities.

• Mitigate risks for Netflix while ensuring agility for business partners.

• Read from and occasionally contribute to internal codebases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in architecting, building, and operating intricate Identity Lifecycle and Access Control solutions.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Product-oriented mindset.

• Solid understanding of IAM fundamentals, including OpenID Connect, SCIM, OAuth, SAML, and LDAP.

• Extensive domain knowledge across all stages of the workforce Identity Lifecycle.

• Practical experience with vendor IAM solutions such as Okta Workflows, Okta Identity Engine, Auth0, or similar.

• Experience with identity integrations and migrations driven by acquisitions is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes using at least one modern programming language, such as Java or Python.

• Regular engagement with internal codebases, including reading and occasional writing.

• Experience operating services on a Cloud computing platform, especially AWS.
