Security Consultant – Fixed Term

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform security assessments for web and mobile applications (Android/iOS), APIs, and various software systems.

• Execute security reviews of infrastructure and cloud configurations.

• Carry out assessments that integrate both AI-driven and traditional penetration testing methods against real-world threats.

• Identify and document security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and deviations from established best practices.

• Offer actionable recommendations to remediate security issues.

• Prepare concise, professional reports detailing identified risks and suggested remediation strategies.

• Engage in client meetings and technical discussions.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to evaluate products, report findings, and document protocols, policies, and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in offensive security services.

• At least 2–3 years concentrated on application security and source code review.

• Hands-on experience in delivering engagements across various AppSec disciplines — including application penetration testing, code review, or SDLC consulting.

• Capability to work independently under tight deadlines.

• Strong technical credibility and proficiency in serving as a senior voice during engagements.

• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to create actionable reports.

• Strong verbal communication skills to present as a subject matter expert and elucidate complex concepts to general audiences.

• Familiarity with OWASP, NIST, ISO, and SAE standards and frameworks.

• Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT, CSSLP, GWEB, or other application-security focused credentials are highly preferred.
