Security Compliance Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate the implementation of security measures.

• Assess adherence to SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and HIPAA standards.

• Gather, verify, and arrange audit documentation for internal and external assessments.

• Conduct control testing to ensure that established processes function effectively.

• Monitor remediation efforts and support system owners in addressing findings.

• Analyze technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and change logs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional background.

• Knowledge of cloud computing principles and various cloud platforms.

• Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM), networking, encryption, logging, and vulnerability management.

• Experience with one or more regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, or HIPAA.

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, or Akamai Cloud/Linode environments.

• Proficient in using governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) platforms like ServiceNow IRM, Archer, or AuditBoard.
