Security Architect II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Overseeing security and delivery processes for clients, managing the technical lifecycle from configuration and testing to production deployment.

• Designing the comprehensive lifecycle of customer configurations, integrating CDN, WAF, API Security, Bot Management, and other solutions into a cohesive, full-stack delivery security framework.

• Evaluating traffic and system architecture, tailoring security solutions to address and resolve security challenges.

• Documenting and managing technical issues, stakeholder feedback, and requests to ensure that information is accurately recorded and updated across projects.

• Working collaboratively with cross-functional project teams to define scope, establish timelines, develop technical solutions, and support ongoing implementations.

• Engaging in continuous training efforts to enhance your skills and educate others.

• Utilizing automation through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Akamai CLI) and scripting (Python, Powershell) to optimize configurations and deployments wherever feasible.

• Employing Web Developer Tools, Postman, cURL, and Burp Suite to diagnose, validate, and enhance end-to-end security and delivery lifecycles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or another related technical discipline, or an equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrate expertise in DNS, routing, HTTP, TCP, TLS, APIs, and application security principles.

• Capable of analyzing web traffic and architectures, customizing Akamai security solutions to tackle customer security issues.

• Utilize OWASP, firewalls, network security products, and client/server architectures to enhance application security.

• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively while proactively solving problems with an automation-first strategy using Terraform, Akamai CLI, and scripting.
