Security Analyst – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jordan.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of ongoing security, governance, and compliance tasks that support the company's certifications and platform trust.

• Manage identity and privileged-access reviews along with credential management.

• Conduct supplier security evaluations and maintain compliance documentation.

• Complete security questionnaires and address customer due diligence inquiries.

• Supervise vulnerability management and ensure findings are resolved effectively.

• Assess new features and changes, including AI functionalities, for their impact on security and data protection.

• Maintain evidence for ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications.

• Perform security risk assessments and keep the risk register updated.

• Organize security awareness and secure-development training sessions.

• Assist with incident-response exercises, business continuity, and backup assurance.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of security policies and governance documentation.

• Aid in fulfilling data-protection obligations and practices related to GDPR.

• Communicate the security and compliance status to leadership and proactively identify risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in managing ISO 27001 ISMS operations and PCI DSS compliance, preferably in a SaaS or technology setting.

• Relevant certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CRISC, CompTIA Security+, or PCIP; ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certification is a plus.

• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus, access recertification, supplier security assessments, and documentation collection.

• Capability to work independently and drive controls to completion.

• Strong communication skills for clear interaction with engineers, HR, and an external virtual CISO.

• A practical, data-driven mindset focused on implementing effective controls.

• Preferred experience with GDPR and data-protection operations, GRC tools, and cloud environments.
