This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Oversee security systems, logs, and alerts to identify, investigate, and address potential threats and incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments, coordinating remediation efforts with IT and engineering teams.
• Ensure and enhance compliance with security frameworks and certifications, including SOC 2.
• Utilize AI technologies to improve and optimize business operations.
• Leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem in relation to the department's functions.
• Facilitate security awareness training and phishing simulation initiatives throughout the organization.
• Analyze overnight security alerts and prioritize high-severity issues.
• Resolve remediation tickets that are assigned for the week.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering on incident response efforts that are currently underway.
• Prepare or update documentation for audits or compliance assessments.
• Execute and assess phishing simulation and training outcomes.
• Maintain Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) ≤15 minutes and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) ≤60 minutes for priority incidents.
• Remediate ≥95% of critical and high-severity vulnerabilities within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) each quarter.
• Achieve a phishing simulation click rate of ≤5% and an employee phishing report rate of ≥50% per campaign.
• Ensure ≥98% completion of mandatory security awareness training each quarter.
• Close ≥95% of audit and compliance findings within the agreed-upon timeframe each quarter.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in information security, IT security, or a related analyst position.
• Proficient understanding of security monitoring tools, SIEM platforms, and endpoint detection systems.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, or CCPA.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and common attack vectors.
• Strong written communication abilities to document incidents and articulate risks to non-technical teams.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and remain composed under time constraints during active incidents.
