This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee instructional programs remotely from a home office located in Oregon.
• Enhance the instructional program via asynchronous web conferencing and real-time instruction.
• Manage grading, generate progress reports, and hold parent conferences.
• Engage in communication with parents, students, teachers, curriculum specialists, and staff learning specialists.
• Create and revise Personal Learning Plans and schedules.
• Evaluate assessments, offer feedback, recommend instructional strategies, monitor assignments, and guide special projects.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the K–12 curriculum along with in-depth knowledge of assigned courses.
• Assess curriculum and create alternative lesson strategies.
• Provide support for daily assignments and projects as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers to facilitate student progress and share responsibilities.
• Keep up-to-date student records, cumulative files, online information, attendance logs, and contact records.
• Design enrichment activities and adapt programs as necessary.
• Work alongside Advisory Teachers and School Counselors to enhance communications, progress, and objectives.
• Organize social events and relevant field trips.
• Oversee regional field trips and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Establish and nurture a virtual school community.
• Take part in the organization and administration of state testing.
• Engage in student recruitment sessions and marketing activities that require teacher representation.
• Attend field trips and community family events.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach high school math in Oregon.
• Multiple Oregon endorsements are strongly preferred.
• An Oregon ESL/ELL endorsement is highly desirable.
• Consideration will be given to out-of-state applicants; however, Oregon residents are preferred.
• Strong proficiency in technology, particularly Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and punctual.
• A customer-oriented mindset.
• A high level of flexibility is required.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated teamwork capability.
• Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events, including the possibility of occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to work occasional evening hours as needed to assist families.
• Must have access to a personal electronic device and email for two-step authentication.
