Secondary Math Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee instructional programs remotely from your home.

• Engage in regular consultations with learning coaches and students.

• Perform grading tasks and generate progress reports.

• Conduct conferences with parents.

• Enhance the instructional program through web conferencing sessions and synchronous teaching.

• Evaluate curriculum and deliver lessons to improve comprehension.

• Maintain communication with parents, students, and teachers.

• Create Personal Learning Plans and schedules.

• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.

• Collaborate with fellow educators.

• Acquire knowledge of K-12 curriculum.

• Assist students and parents with effective strategies.

• Keep records and data current.

• Organize activities and field trips.

• Oversee regional field trip arrangements.

• Participate in student recruitment and marketing initiatives.

• Attend training sessions and related activities.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Math in Missouri.

• Experience working with Professional Learning Communities.

• Proficient in technology, particularly with Microsoft OS and MS Office applications.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Customer-oriented approach.

• High level of adaptability.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong history of teamwork.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events (may involve some overnight travel).

• Capability to work remotely if required.

• Availability for occasional evening hours to support families as needed.

• Must be able to use a personal electronic device and have an email address for two-step authentication.
