This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Take charge of all external financial reporting responsibilities, including the preparation and submission of SEC reports such as Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, earnings releases, proxy filings, and ad hoc registration statements.
• Facilitate the review process of SEC filings in collaboration with external auditors, legal advisors, internal accounting teams, and executive management.
• Oversee the preparation and documentation of financial statements, encompassing the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, EPS calculations, and Share-Based Compensation disclosures.
• Develop technical accounting policies and maintain a comprehensive database of all company accounting standards.
• Investigate significant and complex transactions, drafting technical accounting memoranda to support the Company’s position.
• Track and implement new accounting standards, collaborating across departments to ensure compliance and effective integration.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual fluctuation analyses and management reports.
• Lead the preparation of journal entries for key accounting transactions.
• Take charge of ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and projects focused on enhancing operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Supervise the equity accounting and equity administration process while managing the company’s equity database.
• Work alongside Investor Relations to prepare quarterly earnings releases and scripts for earnings calls.
• Provide assistance for both external and internal audits, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a concentration on SEC reporting, technical accounting, and external audits.
• In-depth understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience in preparing or reviewing complex financial statements.
• Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on detail and precision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, address complex issues, and foster continuous improvements in reporting processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities to effectively collaborate across various departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, along with experience in financial systems like NetSuite and Equity Edge Online.
