Seasonal Licensed Health Insurance Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming phone inquiries to assist individuals in understanding their coverage and selecting suitable products and services.

• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to customers.

• Exhibit empathy while providing assistance to individuals.

• Foster customer relationships to build loyalty and trust.

• Support the application process for Medicare consideration.

• Address questions related to policies.

• Work autonomously while adhering to a designated schedule.

• Maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the State of Alabama.

• Possess an active Health or Health & Life Insurance License in your state of residence.

• At least one year of prior sales experience, ideally in insurance sales for individuals under 65.

• Ensure compliant enrollment in an appropriate medical plan.

• Demonstrated oral and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency with desktop computer systems.

• Capability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute with 90% accuracy.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Desktop or laptop must be compatible with Windows 11; Apple/Mac, tablets, smart devices, Windows Mini PCs, Chromebooks, and Android systems are not supported.

• Computer requirements include at least 8GB of RAM and an i3 4th-generation processor or better.

• A second computer monitor is required.

• A USB headset with a noise-canceling microphone is necessary; 3.5 mm and gaming-style headsets are not permitted.

• High-speed internet is required through a wired Ethernet connection; Wi-Fi, satellite, hotspot, and mobile broadband are not acceptable.

• Internet upload speed of 25 Mbps and download speed of 50 Mbps is necessary.

• Internet Service Provider stability with 1% or less packet loss is needed.

• Latency should be under 100 ms.

• An available cell phone or tablet that meets Android 8.0+ or iOS 14+ requirements is required.

• Must install the Microsoft Authenticator MFA application as mandated by Qualfon IT.
