This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee, mentor, and cultivate a team of 5–8 SDRs.
• Take charge of daily SDR performance, focusing on activity quality, meeting generation, meeting attendance rates, opportunity development, and contribution to the pipeline.
• Assist each SDR in enhancing their skills through regular one-on-one meetings, call coaching, email assessments, pipeline evaluations, role-playing exercises, and strategic feedback.
• Develop clear advancement plans that guide SDRs towards promotional opportunities into AE, partnerships, sales leadership, or other commercial positions.
• Collaborate with the current SDR Manager and Sales leadership to allocate coverage, enhance team operations, and propagate best practices.
• Introduce innovative strategic concepts and tactical outbound methodologies that aid the team in reaching underrepresented segments of our total addressable market (TAM).
• Support SDRs in utilizing sales tools, data, research workflows, sequencing platforms, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Apollo, and other systems more efficiently.
• Enhance account prioritization, target persona selection, message relevance, and outbound execution.
• Partner with AEs to synchronize on territory strategies, account transitions, meeting quality, and follow-up adherence.
• Collaborate with Marketing, RevOps, and Product Marketing on campaign follow-ups, list development, event strategies, competitive positioning, and new product messaging.
• Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, preparedness, high standards, and ongoing improvement.
• Identify gaps in processes, tools, enablement needs, and coaching opportunities that can enhance SDR productivity.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and ramping new SDRs as the team expands.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing SDRs, BDRs, or outbound sales development teams.
• Demonstrated ability to coach early-career sales professionals and enhance representative performance.
• Deep understanding of outbound prospecting practices, including account research, persona mapping, sequencing, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, objection handling, and meeting qualification.
• Experience managing a team with a focus on activity, conversion, pipeline, and quality metrics.
• Proficient in using modern sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, Apollo, Clay, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar platforms.
• Strong enthusiasm for improving sales development processes through enhanced data, smarter tools, and more effective representative execution.
• Ability to propose innovative ideas while working collaboratively with existing leadership and operational frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to clear, relevant, and commercially sharp messaging.
• Analytical mindset capable of diagnosing funnel issues and transforming data into actionable coaching or process improvements.
• High level of ownership, strong follow-through, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience selling to eCommerce, retail, marketing, analytics, attribution, or performance marketing teams is advantageous.
