This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Facilitate the effective delivery of business and technology solutions within the health insurance sector.
• Serve as a servant leader and agile coach for Scrum team(s).
• Implement Agile values, principles, and practices to oversee work across sprints.
• Mentor and coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices.
• Lead essential Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness and planning.
• Monitor and manage delivery progress utilizing Agile tools.
• Proactively identify and manage risks and dependencies that may affect delivery.
• Prepare and present status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise governance and operational standards.
• Oversee the tracking and management of project and program-level deliverables and timelines.
• Bachelor's degree or higher is strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or similar delivery leadership role.
• Agile and/or Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience in health insurance, medical claims, payment integrity, or related healthcare business domains is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in delivering automation, technology modernization, or software solutions within complex operational environments.
• Practical experience with Agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira) for managing sprint-based and hybrid delivery models.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, principles, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to transition between Scrum Master and traditional project management roles as delivery demands dictate.
• Strong technical and business acumen, capable of translating business needs into technical outcomes and articulating technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities across teams.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to continuous improvement.
