Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the implementation of agile methodologies and project management practices with the team and stakeholders.

• Lead Scrum ceremonies and ensure compliance with agile rituals.

• Oversee scope, schedule, and quality, while monitoring risks, dependencies, and the critical path.

• Assist the Product Owner/Manager in detailing and prioritizing the backlog.

• Eliminate obstacles and promote a healthy, collaborative, and productive environment.

• Mediate conflicts and drive continuous improvement within the team.

• Track, publish, and analyze efficiency and performance metrics, leading to data-driven initiatives.

• Facilitate communication among teams, manage dependencies, and streamline workflows.

• Ensure proper execution of the agile process by identifying and removing bottlenecks.

• Keep stakeholders updated on progress, risks, and outcomes through reports and synchronization rituals.

• Contribute to the mapping of value streams and assist in defining customer requirements.

• Engage the team in the ongoing development of acceptance criteria, Definition of Done (DoD), Definition of Ready (DoR), and backlog practices.

• Serve as Scrum Master for one squad.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).

• Background in project management, including risk assessment and control, critical path analysis, dependencies, and management of time, scope, and quality.

• Proficient in agile and project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira).

• Capability to facilitate and lead agile ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retrospective).

• Experience with backlog management, workflows, agile metrics, and boards.

• Strong practice in defining and evolving acceptance criteria, DoD, DoR, and backlog refinement, fostering ongoing team learning.

• Analytical mindset for collecting, tracking, and sharing relevant metrics (Lead Time, Throughput, WIP, CFD), promoting data-driven decision making.

• Proactive in facilitating continuous improvement based on evidence.

• Skillful in preparing reports and executive presentations, ensuring transparency for diverse audiences.

• Ability to identify, analyze, and remove impediments, fostering collaboration and conflict resolution.

• Proactive in promoting an agile culture and enhancing team skills.

• Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and areas.
