Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate all Agile sprint ceremonies, encompassing sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Monitor and manage team velocity, sprint metrics, and story point throughput; generate clear performance reports for both internal and client stakeholders.

• Identify, escalate, and actively address blockers and impediments that affect the team's ability to deliver.

• Coordinate sprint cadence across different time zones (India, US, UK) in alignment with the client's schedule.

• Oversee the management of the Jira board, ensuring that stories are accurately maintained, updated, and visible to all stakeholders.

• Advocate for Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the pod.

• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of the Team Working Agreement, which includes roles, responsibilities, handoffs, change control, and the definition of done.

• Assist in onboarding new team members, ensuring they are aware of the Team Working Agreement and client-specific training requirements.

• Act as a communication link between the delivery team and project management.

• Produce and maintain regular delivery status updates and sprint reports for the client.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile delivery roles, specifically as a Scrum Master on enterprise technology projects.

• Demonstrated experience in managing sprint ceremonies and tracking Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput) in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

• Proficient in using Jira for sprint and backlog management.

• Strong skills in facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution.

• Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams across various time zones.

• Capability to produce clear, concise stakeholder reports that illustrate delivery performance.

• Prior experience with ServiceNow or similar platform delivery projects is preferred.

• Exposure to large enterprise clients in regulated industries, such as healthcare or medical devices, is preferred.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow as a complementary project management or ITSM tool is preferred.

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certifications are preferred.

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications are also preferred.
