• Take full ownership of end-to-end delivery responsibilities within a single scrum team, ensuring outcomes are predictable and of high quality.
• Develop and implement the delivery model, which includes sprint cadence, backlog readiness, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and coordination of releases.
• Facilitate all agile ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
• Guide the Product Owner and team in clarifying the scope, sizing, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria for work items.
• Define the scope for sprints and releases based on product prioritization and the engineering team's capacity.
• Lead integrated planning efforts across product, engineering, UX, QA, and release management.
• Oversee pre-release planning, including the development, validation, and readiness of Release Scope Statements; evaluate capacity and communicate risks and dependencies.
• Manage release-level capacity planning, estimation, sequencing, and tracking of delivery.
• Ensure that epics and stories are well-defined, prioritized, and meet both functional and non-functional requirements with approved acceptance criteria.
• Actively manage delivery risks, constraints, and dependencies; provide clear milestone tracking and reporting.
• Keep Jira updates accurate, enforce the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and ensure that runbook updates are completed as necessary.
• Lead non-production WAR/MIM rooms to address urgent non-production issues as required for Development, QA, or Staging environments in preparation for upcoming releases.
• Maintain accurate updates in PlainView (PV) for the scrum team, reflecting the appropriate project and product attributes.
• Ensure that weekly time-tracking is reported by the scrum team; regularly facilitate reviews of the time tracking reports with the Leadership Team.
• A degree or equivalent, typically requiring 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Over 4 years of experience in leading large-scale agile delivery for complex technology projects.
• Proven success in roles such as Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in hybrid delivery leadership positions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a scrum team, dependencies, and stakeholders in fast-paced, regulated environments.
• Excellent executive communication skills, with experience engaging Directors, VPs, and senior leaders.
• Expert-level experience in managing scope, timelines, and delivery commitments.
• Strong understanding of technical architecture and product roadmaps to effectively assist engineering teams.
• Experience in promoting engineering best practices, including CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and code quality standards.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering teams (web, cloud, APIs, microservices).
• Proficient in delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar platforms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Scrum framework, including roles, ceremonies, artifacts, and principles.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or an equivalent certification from a recognized industry organization.
