This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Coach and guide an agile team within a scaled agile framework (SAFe).
• Facilitate team breakouts to strategize work and establish PI objectives during PI Planning.
• Oversee the planning and execution of tasks throughout a Program Increment, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to facilitate backlog refinement.
• Monitor and eliminate obstacles to enhance the agile team's efficiency and effectiveness; engage with the broader organizational network for impediment resolution; ensure coordination across teams.
• Maintain pertinent metrics to assess team performance and pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Conduct capacity planning to assist teams in organizing iterations and increments.
• Work alongside other Scrum Masters to handle dependencies and ensure uniformity among teams.
• Serve as a liaison with architects, cybersecurity subject matter experts, and other stakeholders; promote effective communication across engineering disciplines.
• Manage product releases and coordinate dependencies between teams, third parties, or among assigned teams and other Scrum teams.
• Aid in the development of product roadmaps.
• Mentor the team to foster continuous improvement and transition into a high-performing unit.
• Create new processes and enhance existing ones to improve quality and productivity.
• Elevate the team's presence within Agile communities of practice and actively engage in the organization’s Agile Community.
• Ensure adequate staffing for assigned Epics and Features.
• Plan and allocate work while providing guidance, resolving issues to achieve technical performance and business goals.
• Guarantee product quality and the timely execution of efforts.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with seven years of relevant experience.
• Certified Scrum Master or Certified SAFe Scrum Master with substantial experience in coaching Scrum teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Agile background, with at least three (3) years’ experience leading teams utilizing an Agile Scrum or Scaled Agile methodology.
• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of software development, including planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management.
• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic; self-motivated.
