Scooper Avionics Technician II – Rotational

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Operate collaboratively within a team setting, upholding the highest standards of ethics, integrity, safety, and honesty.

• Communicate effectively with team members regarding technical data, quality compliance, and time management.

• Exhibit proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, component technical data, wiring diagrams, aircraft blueprints, and schematics.

• Wire, install, test, and verify the operation of avionics equipment and accessories; identify and rectify electronic failures using hand tools, testing equipment, technical documents, and reference materials.

• Modify existing wire harnesses and fabricate new wire harnesses.

• Ensure that maintenance and modifications are performed in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer instructions.

• Assist with all aircraft maintenance tasks.

• Utilize sound judgment and technical expertise to make informed decisions regarding job sequencing, troubleshooting, and resolving discrepancies.

• Be capable of climbing ladders, applying dexterity with hand tools, and moving around the shop/hangar area and within aircraft continuously throughout the workday.

• Carry out all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining aircraft Avionics Systems.

• High School Diploma.

• Valid Driver’s License and Passport.

• Valid A&P License.

• Experience in a 145 Repair Station.

• Preferred experience with firefighting aircraft.

• Preferred willingness to travel for extended durations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and aircraft maintenance tracking software.

• Ability to lift equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
