This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with field sales teams to inform key recommenders and enhance recommendations, market share, and sales growth.
• Develop partnerships with specialty referral hospitals to boost nutrition category sales in nearby general practices.
• Forge connections with regional medical leadership and engage in impactful events for the veterinary diet sector.
• Create and maintain a network of Key Opinion Leader advocates for Royal Canin and identify potential speakers.
• Provide Royal Canin nutrition education to veterinarians, technicians, and hospital personnel.
• Work in tandem with regional and strategic account sales teams to expand the veterinary business unit.
• Act as a reliable technical resource, offering expert support and advice.
• Represent Royal Canin at veterinary conferences and events.
• Offer expert nutritional case consultations.
• Modify territory and regional coverage as required.
• Assist field-based teams through local and air travel.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (or VMD) with an active license in at least one state.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary practitioner, including internships, co-ops, and/or residency.
• Preference for experience in small or companion animal practices.
• Outstanding scientific communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and OneNote.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and capacity to travel extensively, up to 75% within the designated territory.
• Eligibility for a company vehicle.
• Flexibility to travel during evenings and weekends.
• Ability to independently manage travel logistics.
• Capability to work effectively from home when not traveling.
• Must be willing and able to travel to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
