This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Product team to establish the application structure, define entity/data models, outline task workflows (Scientific Workflows), and specify the desired data visualization experiences.

• Develop registration entities, data flows, task templates, data visualization experiences, and other configurations to support the creation of Luma Solutions.

• Conduct in-team testing of configurations and assist in preparing test cases for the QA team for release testing. Troubleshoot configurations to identify reasons for undesired outcomes.

• Draft documentation for configurations and workflows and work alongside the Documentation team to finalize customer-facing documentation.

• Provide training to members of other Dotmatics teams and early customers on utilizing Luma Solutions configurations and the workflows they support.

• Engage with new product features in Luma Solutions and share feedback on the user experience, participate in user experience testing, and offer input to the Product team regarding features that will enhance the Solutions.

• Actively contribute to the formulation of best practices for Luma configuration, ensuring adherence to these practices during the development of Luma Solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of practical experience in building and delivering informatics solutions for clients in the Life Sciences sector.

• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Data Science, Chemistry, Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field.

• Experience in the Life Sciences industry, whether as a Scientific Solution Architect, technical application Scientist, or a Scientist involved in product or technical application design.

• Advanced knowledge in data modeling, showcasing a proven ability to create robust and scalable data structures.

• Expert proficiency in configuring low-code platforms and designing comprehensive end-to-end workflows.

• A track record of successfully delivering scientific data platforms or tools that encompass data modeling, ETL, APIs, and BI/reporting.

• Expert-level SQL capabilities, along with a solid working knowledge of Python and JSON.

• Extensive experience in integrating tools and modules to design complete and cohesive solutions.

• Strong analytical skills to translate product requirements into precise technical configuration designs.

• Excellent communication abilities — capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.

• Experience in running and/or supporting scientific workflows within a production or research setting.
