Scientific Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the scientific team tasked with delivering a comprehensive range of strategic publication initiatives.

• Direct and manage accounts to produce high-quality, precise medical and scientific materials.

• Expand and cultivate publication efforts in collaboration with VPs of scientific and client services.

• Identify and formulate strategic and tactical business proposals.

• Develop, lead, and facilitate essential strategy workshops.

• Communicate scientific and therapeutic insights specifically in the field of oncology.

• Encourage innovation and teamwork throughout Ashfield MedComms.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD degree.

• Over 10 years of pertinent experience in medical communications.

• Comprehensive knowledge of publication work in oncology.

• Proven track record of effective scientific leadership across various clients and therapeutic categories.

• Experience with US launches is mandatory; global experience is advantageous.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in managing staff and direct reports, potentially located in multiple regions.
