This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Developing a strategy for outreach to engage essential and underrepresented fields in plant-based meat research.

• Identifying key disciplines, individuals, and forums to compile a comprehensive database of people, fields, and societies.

• Creating outreach materials to foster relationships with individuals and academic departments.

• Assisting in outreach and engagement by organizing initiatives and meetings.

• Analyzing and presenting findings in a conclusive report.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the culture of physical sciences and/or engineering fields, evidenced by a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or at least 3 years of academic research experience.

• Preference will be given to applicants pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) or a higher degree in a relevant field for plant-based meat research, including but not limited to: physical sciences and engineering such as material sciences, mechanical engineering, soft matter physics, chemical or biological engineering, etc.

• Capability to effectively convey technical concepts across various academic disciplines.

• Proficient in communicating professionally, both verbally and in writing, with students, researchers, and other innovators, catering to both scientific audiences and science-curious laypeople.

• Preference for candidates with experience in planning scientific and academic research events, fostering community, or participating in society/committee work aimed at uniting scientists.

• Strong abilities in analyzing and interpreting literature and varied data sources to draw insightful conclusions and propose future directions.

• Capacity to work independently and at a self-directed pace.

• A dedication to cultivating a work environment that is respectful, supportive, equitable, and welcoming to all.

• Comfort in working remotely within a collaborative, supportive, and high-achieving culture that values inclusion and innovation.
