This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design and execution of both qualitative and quantitative data collection initiatives, which include surveys, interview guidelines, focus groups, databases, and various research instruments.

• Gather, organize, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from interviews, focus groups, surveys, document assessments, and other resources.

• Conduct virtual and in-person interviews and focus groups independently where applicable.

• Perform literature reviews and conduct background research.

• Produce findings and insights using qualitative and quantitative analysis methodologies.

• Aid in technical assistance, training, and capacity-building efforts with clients and partners.

• Interpret and synthesize findings from qualitative and quantitative data.

• Write reports, memos, proposals, and other deliverables for clients.

• Create presentations and technical documents tailored for various audiences.

• Develop charts, tables, infographics, and other visual representations.

• Provide support for presentations and discussions regarding findings with clients and project teams.

• Coordinate tasks and timelines across various projects.

• Collaborate across different practice areas to ensure high-quality client deliverables.

• Engage in project meetings, offering ideas, inquiries, and solutions.

• Communicate project updates, questions, and emerging requirements proactively.

• Assist in proposal development by coordinating tasks, preparing materials, writing sections, and producing submissions.

• Maintain an 85% utilization target in project-related tasks.

• Participate in approved professional development and internal non-client initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, sociology, psychology, education, social work, or a related social science discipline.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in research, evaluation, consulting, community engagement, capacity building, or a similar field.

• Proven ability to support multiple projects concurrently while managing competing priorities and deadlines.

• Skilled in collecting, organizing, managing, and analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data.

• Experience in conducting interviews, focus groups, surveys, or other qualitative and quantitative research methods.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to customize information for diverse audiences.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with qualitative and/or quantitative analysis software such as Excel, SPSS, R, NVivo, Dedoose, or similar tools.

• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a dynamic, collaborative consulting setting.

• Capable of working independently while maintaining proactive communication regarding progress, inquiries, and emerging needs.

• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn new concepts.

• Committed to promoting healthy, just, and equitable communities.

• Interested in leveraging research, evaluation, and community engagement to address complex issues.

• Willingness and capacity to travel as necessary for client meetings, project activities, or community engagement efforts.

• Must reside within the 50 United States or Washington, DC.

• Must be able to provide evidence of legal eligibility to work in the United States.

• Must not require employment-based visa sponsorship currently or in the future.
